V NEDELJO 2.5.2010 JE VESLAŠKI KLUB PIRAN ORGANIZIRAL MEDNARODNO VESLAŠKO REGATO NA KATERI JE V SKIFU VESLAL TUDI UČENEC NAŠE ŠOLE MIHA CAFUTA.

V KONKURENCI 22-TIH ČOLNOV MED MLAJŠIMI PIONIRJI JE PRESENETIL KONKURENCO IN SE UVRSTIL NA TRETJE MESTO. ODLIKOVAL SE JE Z DOBRO TAKTIKO TER NEPOPUSTLJIVIM VESLANJEM DO SAMEGA CILJA.

REGATA JE POTEKALA V ZELO NEMIRNEM MORJU KAR ŠE POSEBEJ OTEŽUJE VESLANJE. ZATO JE MIHOV USPEH TOLIKO VREDNEJŠI.
